Imogen Lloyd Webber (Patrick McMullan)
A "petite polymath," in the words of the New York Post, Imogen Lloyd Webber has a pedigree to match. Ms. Lloyd Webber is daughter of Broadway impresario and British baron Andrew Lloyd Webber. (You might call him Lord Lloyd Webber, if formality is your aim, and his daughter the Honorable Imogen.) A graduate of Cambridge University, where she "read" history, and a regular on Fox News, Ms. Lloyd Webber now has a Turtle Bay condo, within spitting distance of the Upper East Side—to reflect the sensibilities of her politically conservative employers—and a quick crosstown jaunt away from the Theater District. She's just plunked down $1.6 million for a one-bedroom duplex at 310 East 53rd Street, according to city records.
A "brilliant" space, in the the listing's phraseology—"the ultimate loft... with a coolness factor" to best any downtown rival—the apartment has 17-foot ceilings and an abundance of thermal windows, ensuring a surplus of air and light. Great, clean expanses of white walls and blonde hardwood flooring it make it a welcoming place for the art connoisseur. And given that Turtle Bay lacks the sex appeal that might otherwise suit a buxom blonde heiress—Ms. Lloyd Webber has been linked in the past to the actors Christian Slater and Gerard Butler—we imagine that she was perhaps swayed by the listing's invitation to "live out [her] fantasy on the grandest of terms."
But Ms. Lloyd Webber has, by all appearances at least, been living out a fantasy for most of her life. In addition to her stints at Fox, Ms. Lloyd Webber has appeared on MSNBC, Extra, 20/20, MTV, Access Hollywood and Viewpoint, among others. In 2009 she produced an original play: Touched...For the Very First Time. She is the author of the hard-hitting nonfiction account The Single Girls Guide, and the co-author with Georgie Thompson of the novel The Twitter Diaries, which is based on the pair's friendship. (They met at a party thrown by Piers Morgan.)

The seller, Ilan Bracha, has had a pretty good run himself, though the sale of the apartment, which he brokered with Chen Mishael, was less than impressive for a founder of real estate giant Keller Williams NYC with over $2 billion in transactions to his name. Mr. Bracha bought the duplex as a sponsor unit in 2006 for $1.7 million, and tried selling it four times since, with prices ranging from $2.5 million to $1.49 million; it was most recently listed at $1.65 million. Though the broker has left behind the "fantasy" on 53rd Street at a bit of a loss, something tells us he won't have too much trouble finding another apartment.
