There are two kinds of people today: those who love Black Friday and those who loathe it. (I’m actually not sure which group I’m in; the part of me who grew up in New Jersey shopping in malls loves it, but the part of me that likes to sleep in can’t imagine shopping in the middle of the night.) If you’re the former, you have umpteen shopping opportunities available to you today. Night owls, early birds and bargain hunters can head over to Elmhurst for Queens Center’s midnight madness sale. All stores open at midnight, and through 4 a.m., there’ll be music, giveaways and prizes such as gift cards from J.C. Penney, bebe, the Children’s Place and Pandora.
