Remember Gawker columnist Tionna Smalls, who went on to parlay her Internet fame into a book, Girl, Get Your Mind Right! and onto the small screen on VH1’s What Chilli Wants? She’s now the editor in chief of Bossy magazine and has a talk show in the works. Want to learn the secrets to her success or just dish with her and new friends over brunch? This event, presented by the Brunch & Lime Family and Feisty Flavors Catering, is for you. Not only that, but after you’re full, at 3 p.m., brunch turns into a “he said, she said” conversation between smalls and comedian Mr. Major on “the importance of learning patience and understanding through the dating process and reaching personal life goals.” You’re invited to bring cans of unopened food and gently used coats for donation to Coalition for the Homeless.

NY Tracks Café, 1556 Ralph Avenue, Brooklyn, 917-291-1894, 11 a.m.-5 p.m., $8-$16
