Dina Lohan, mother of the completely stable, drug-free Lindsay Lohan (our generation's poster child for Adderall addiction) was arrested Thursday night in Nassau County for drunk diving. O'doi.
According to Newsday.com, Ms. Lohan was stopped for driving 77 mph in a 55-mph zone yesterday evening in her white BMW. (Totally classy.) That's when things got good. She claimed that she was injured while police were trying to arrest her; when the ambulance arrived and she was determined to be in perfect health, "she recanted her claim." (We've got a regular Jerry Dantana over here!) Ms. Lohan was issued tickets for the two DWI offenses and for speeding, then was "released to a sober third party."
The "straight dope" of this case? Last year, at approximately this exact same time, Lindsay and Dina Lohan were having cat-fights out in Long Island in their limousine. The fact that a year later the best we can say is "Lindsay Lohan wasn't involved in her mother's drunken shenanigans," tells us an unfortunate amount about this Hollywood family.
