Downtown’s style bible Paper magazine presents its second annual Super (Duper) Market, a three-day pop-up store of trendy food purveyors and innovators. Expect artisanal gourmet grub from the likes of San Francisco’s Humphry Slocombe, which makes ice cream with flavors like Jesus Juice (Coca-Cola and red wine), Morning Breakfast (cornflakes and rum) and Elvis the Fat Years (peanut brittle, banana and bacon). Also: vinegar drinks from Portland’s Pok Pok Som, chocolate bars with hemp seeds from Springfield, Mo.’s Askinosie, conceptual stuff from deejay duo AndrewAndrew, and black cotton candy and edible dishes and silverware by Cynthia Rowley’s CuRious Candy, plus much more.
