A despicably inventive robber used disguised a stun gun as a cane to hold up the Upper East Side Fairway, police say.

According to The Daily News,  25-year-old Daniel Nieves and two pistol-wielding sidekicks barged into the supermarket in the early hours of June 24.

The trio attacked the store at 3:45am on Monday and began menacing the late-night employees, police said.

The brutal heist kicked off with Mr. Nieves using stun gun to Taze a 35-year-old employee, while his cronies forced the man's co-workers to the ground, threatening them with their weapons.

Unable to crack the store's safe, the gang resorted to violence. One man allegedly pistol-whipped an employee before emptying out customer's pockets for money and cell-phones.

Luckily, the police arrived and managed to grab Mr. Nieves, still holding his "cane," before his accomplices fled.

The NYPD released details of the pair, who they believe to be about 5-foot-6 and in their 20s. One had a long ponytail and was last seen wearing a white T-shirt. The other was apparently heavy-set and wearing a blue sweatsuit.

Mr. Nieves was charged with robbery, assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
