What better way to watch a polo match than with endless flutes of champagne? VIPs at the sixth annual Veuve Cliquot Polo Classic, hosted by Matthew McConaughey, Ralph Lauren model Nacho Figueras and his wife Delfina Blaquier, and Vanessa Kay, the president of Veuve Cliquot U.S., will enjoy special ferry departures, a champagne hour at noon and a polo exhibition match at 2 p.m., with an awards ceremony and more bubbly at 3 p.m. before boating it back to Manhattan. Ladies are asked to wear summer dresses, and men should sport suits. The day benefits the event’s locale, Liberty State Park, and the Just Keep Livin Foundation, started by Mr. McConaughey and his wife, Camila, to help empower high school students.
